Kroger has partnered with HarvestMark®, the industry’s leading produce traceability solution, to deliver the Quality You Can Trace^SM program for shoppers who want to know more about the source of their food.  

 

Now shoppers can trace fresh fruit and vegetables from the Fresh Selections and Private Selection by Kroger brands, as well as Private Selection® Organic chicken back to the source. See the freshness for yourself by learning where your products are grown, when it was packed, get additional information about ingredients, and more. In addition, in the rare event of a recall, shoppers can check whether the food in their fridge is affected using the HarvestMark® code on the package.  

 

Kroger is the first retailer to offer HarvestMark® across it’s corporate brand of produce, underscoring its commitment to quality and the well being of its customers.  

 

Look for a sixteen-digit HarvestMark® code under the use-by date on your package of fresh food.  Then enter the code at HarvestMark.com or using the free HarvestMark® iPhone app to get information about the food in your hand.
