Grilled Skewered Shrimp with Calabrian Marinara Sauce
Breaded in a palate-pleasing blend of herbs and spices, this sweet and spicy grilled shrimp meal is quick, easy and bursting with bold, satisfying flavor.
Recipe Ingredients:
- 25 large shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- ½ jar Vero Gusto® Calabrian Marinara from Barilla®
- ⅔ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Italian parsley, chopped
- 5 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 lemon
- Sea salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt and black pepper.
- Skewer shrimp; coat with breadcrumb mixture. Drizzle with remaining olive oil. Grill on both sides until shrimp are thoroughly cooked and breading is golden brown.
- Serve with warm marinara sauce, separately as dip or use as topping. Garnish with lemon.
