  Bonanza is a California Cabernet Sauvignon that speaks to the simple pleasures of day-to-day life. Created by Chuck Wagner of Caymus Vineyards, this wine is delicious, accessible and enjoyable over a meal. It's made from the "bonanza" of our great state – vineyard sites that hold potential to produce good Cabernet but are often overlooked.

  • Nose: Dark and rich, with toasted cocoa bean, chocolate covered cherries, a hint of fresh leather and the wafting scent of a nearby BBQ
  • Palate: Intense textures/flavors echo the nose – cocoa, toasted wood and chocolate covered cherries; medium tannins are round and smooth
  • Differentiator: A perfect wine to enjoy with food any day of the week – and priced at about 20 dollar/bottle, it also offers a great value
  • Non-vintage: Blending an older and younger wine gives us freedom as winemakers; it also makes for greater consistency and an exciting result
