  • Castello Smoked Gouda is produced in Hollandtown, WI and part of DFW. Gouda is a traditional, mild and semi-soft cheese of Dutch origin. It is named after the city of Gouda in the Netherlands. Castello Smoked Gouda is made with homogenized part-skim milk and is a sweet-curd cheese similar to Edam except that it contains more fat. Creamy, full-flavored with a nutty, buttery flavor, touch of sweetness and subtle smoky notes.
