Far Niente Chardonnay is an iconic, Napa Valley white wine brimming with freshness and finesse. The 2024 vintage opens with inviting aromas of melon, citrus blossom, ripe peach and pear, with a whisper of vanilla and toasted hazelnut, then layers bright flavors of grilled citrus and wet stone over a smooth, creamy texture, finishing with subtle spice and lively acidity. Hand-harvested and hand-sorted, barrel-fermented and aged sur lie in French oak, favoring neutral over new oak and forgoing malolactic fermentation, for richness and savory depth while preserving pure varietal fruit and bright natural acidity.
