Track cooking progress without opening the door/lid to help maintain an even air temperature for the best results. This thermometer is preset with eight protein settings with multiple taste options. A bright backlit display is easy-to-read. The thermometer has a durable 6-inch stainless steel probe and a 4-foot silicone cord with a convenient cord wrap storage system. An alarm signal occurs when food hits the preset time or desired internal temperature to ensure perfect results. HELPFUL HINTS: Digital thermometers are NOT meant to be left in food during cooking. The plastic and electronic components could be damaged by excessive heat. Only the wired probe should be in the oven/grill but not exposed to temperatures exceeding 482 degrees Fahrenheit (250 degrees Celsius) or in contact with direct flames. NOTE: The thermometer and timer function independently and cannot be used together.
