Flaxseed and seaberry are amazing natural sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), linoleic acid, palmitoleic acid, and oleic acid, which are omegas -3, -6, -7, and -9 respectively. Omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and omega-6 linoleic acid are considered essential fatty acids, and must be obtained through our diets. Our omega-3 is plant-based ALA, which is the only type of omega-3 that is essential!
