Chia was cultivated by the ancient Aztecs, and was honored as a "power food." It is one of the best plant sources of beneficial Omega-3 oils, especially a-linolenic acid (ALA) and are also an excellent source of fiber. Nature's Answer chia seeds are produced using totally natural growing techniques, which have been used since antiquity. Our chia seeds are 100% vegetarian, non-GMO and are produced without the use of pesticides.
