In order for us to provide exclusive access to these new rewards and new ways to earn, we had to keep Fresh Mode separate from the Kroger app and kroger.com. But don’t worry, you’ll still get all the other benefits you love from Kroger Plus.

Earn Fresh Points any way you shop, in-store or online with Pickup, Delivery, or Ship via Kroger.com.

Groceries: Earn 1 point for each dollar spent on most groceries. Be on the lookout for special bonus earning opportunities in Fresh Mode app.

Gift Cards: Earn 2 points for each $1 spent on most gift cards. Kroger Family of Stores Gift Cards, Green Dot prepaid reloadable products, MoneyPaks, American Express Variable Load Gift Cards, Visa Variable Load Gift Cards, and MasterCard Variable Load Gift Cards are excluded.

These are fun, unique opportunities for you to earn more points, faster. Some of these will be related to products or brands you purchase or for answering a simple question or two on the app. Check the “Bonuses” tab on the app to see how you can earn more.

Fresh Mode bonus challenges mean that you can earn more Fresh Mode points, faster! After you download the Fresh Mode app, make sure you turn on push notifications to stay updated on all bonus opportunities to earn.

1. Opt-in to challenges. Challenges are sent via in-app messaging and push notification when you have new opportunities to earn bonus points
2. Complete challenges. Shop online or in-store and complete the bonus challenge to earn your bonus Fresh Mode points.
3. Cash in your points for rewards. Check out the Rewards Store and redeem your favorite rewards to be applied to your next shopping trip! Once rewards are redeemed, they will automatically be downloaded and applied to your next transaction.

Points expire the last day of the month after they are earned. For example, points earned in May expire on June 30th. Monthly balances do not combine across months – each month is a separate earning period. When redeeming for a reward, you pick the monthly balance you want to use.

First step – pick your reward! Visit the “Rewards” tab in the Fresh Mode app to redeem your points for $1, $3, $10 off groceries, Our Brands, or even free delivery! Just 100 points and you’re ready to start saving. Plus, we’re always adding more reward options so be sure to check in regularly to see how you can be rewarded.

Once you’ve selected your rewards, all you have to do is shop using your Kroger plus membership and the savings will be instantly applied on qualifying items / transaction – you’ll see “eCPN Fresh Mode” on the receipt to confirm your savings.
