Ingredients
- 16 large white mushrooms
- 1⁄2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1⁄4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- dash Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and gills from the mushrooms and discard.
- In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Take a spoonful of the Parmesan mixture and stuff it into each mushroom cap, pressing down gently to fill it. Continue until all the mushroom caps are stuffed.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
- Cook the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Carefully remove the stuffed mushrooms from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate.
- Garnish the stuffed mushrooms with some additional chopped parsley, if desired, and serve them hot.
