Almond Milk Kefir
Kefir grains can be used to culture nut milk, seed milk, and fresh juices. This milk is good blended with fresh fruits or served with granola.

- 1 quart almond milk
- 1 package kefir grains
- 2 Tbsp. agave nectar
- 1 cup strawberries
- Pour the almond milk into a glass jar. Add the kefir grains into the milk and put a cheesecloth over the opening. Use a rubber band to fasten the cheesecloth to the jar.
- Let the milk sit at room temperature for 12–24 hours. It cultures faster in the warm summer weather.
- Pour the milk through a strainer to strain out the kefir grains.
- Place the milk, agave nectar, and the strawberries in a blender and blend until smooth and serve.
