Almond Milk

For a delicious almond milkshake, blend in flavorings like berries, grain coffee, peaches, nuts, coconut, tea, or cinnamon. Sweeteners include apples, raisins, maple syrup, or brown rice syrup.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups spring water
  • 1 cup almonds, soaked
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. brown rice syrup

Directions

  • Add water and almonds to blender and blend until smooth. Strain mixture through cheesecloth or strainer into a large bowl.
  • Put almond milk back into the blender. Add vanilla and brown rice syrup and blend until smooth. Store milk in refrigerator for 3 days. Shake well before serving.
