Anise Smoothie

Although it can be found in almost every grocery store’s produce section, people rarely purchase or prepare anise at home. The vitamins and minerals in this veggie make it a must have, and the taste is amazingly unique.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 2 medium bulbs anise
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled
  • 1 large carrot, peeled
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 2 cups purified water

Directions

  • Place romaine, fennel, cucumber, carrot, celery, and 1 cup of purified water in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add remaining 1 cup of water while blending until desired texture is achieved.
