Apple Lemonade Juice

Apples are available year round, but are best September through November. Select firm apples with good color. Skins should be smooth and have no blemishes.

  • 2 large Gala apples, cored
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, cored
  • 1⁄4 cup thinly sliced lemon, rind intact
  • 1⁄4 tsp. cayenne pepper


  • Juice apples first. Cut lemon into thin slices and then juice it. Stir in cayenne.
