Applesauce Waffles

These soft and fluffy waffles are filled with applesauce and are sure to delight. Mix it up by topping with applesauce, nut butters, and coconut oil.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1½ cups almond milk
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil
  • 3 Tbsp. applesauce
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1¾ cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together until combined.
  • Bake in a hot waffle iron per waffle maker instructions until golden. Serve with butter and syrup.
