Avocado Butter

This creamy spread is great to have on hand to spread on toast or melted over steamed vegetables, potatoes, noodles and cooked grains. Get creative by adding spices to flavor it to your liking!

  • 1 ripe avocado, pitted and scooped out of shell
  • 1⁄4 cup Simple Truth Organic™ Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Private Selection™ Sea Salt
  • 1 pinch Private Selection™ Cayenne Pepper


  • Add all ingredients together in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down sides.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste. Store in a storage container and press flat, covered with a sheet of plastic wrap to prevent discoloration.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
