Awesome Apple-Banana Smoothie

Your kids will love this healthy milkshake. Feel free to alternate fruits such as mango, melon or berries.

  • 1 cup lowfat milk
  • 1⁄2 cup no-sugar-added apple juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and chopped
  • 6 to 8 ice cubes


  • Mix all ingredients in a blender, adding the ice slowly. Blend until smooth.
