Bacon-Wrapped Maple Scallops

Easy to make, these scallops can make for elegant dinner fare or talk-of-the-party hors d’oeuvres.

  • 20 sea scallops
  • 10 slices bacon, halved
  • 1⁄4 cup maple syrup


  • Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Wrap each scallop with bacon; secure with a toothpick and transfer to baking sheet. Brush evenly with maple syrup.
  • Broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until bacon is fully cooked on all sides. Serve immediately.
