Barbecue Plum Sauce
Use as a table or basting sauce for chicken, duck, pork, or lamb.

- ½ cup plum jam
- 1 medium white onion, peeled and grated
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 cup red wine
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- Process jam in food processor until smooth.
- Sauté onion in oil for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add jam and remaining ingredients to onion and stir until thoroughly mixed. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Store in sealed jar in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
