Barilla® Pronto™ Rotini Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Parsley

Ready in a flash, this skillet mac and cheese is a hit with all ages.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Barilla® Pronto™ Rotini
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1⁄2 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 1⁄2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3⁄4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Combine whole box of pasta, water and dry mustard in a large skillet, turn flame to high and bring to a boil. Season with salt. Cook on high, stirring occasionally, until almost all of the liquid has evaporated. Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in heavy cream for approximately 30 seconds, coating pasta evenly. Add sharp cheddar, Parmesan and parsley. Serve immediately.
