Basic Breakfast Sandwich

Whole-grain bread is your best choice when it comes to breads at breakfast. It's significantly higher in fiber than bagels and regular white bread.

  • 2 slices whole-grain bread
  • ½ cup Egg Beaters
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ ground white pepper
  • 1 slice fat-free American cheese


  • Toast bread.
  • Pour eggs, salt, and pepper into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave egg mixture for 1 minute on high or until egg is thoroughly cooked.
  • Place eggs on one slice of bread, add cheese, and top with the other slice.
