- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3⁄4 cups whole milk
- 1⁄2 cup canola oil
- Preheat waffle iron following manufacturer’s instructions.
- Stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt, and make a well in the middle. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs lightly, then beat in the milk and oil until well combined. Add all at once to the dry ingredients and combine until just moistened. Batter will have a few lumps.
- Use manufacturer’s directions to determine how much batter to use per waffle; use about 1 cup for a standard 7-inch circular waffle. Do not open the iron while the waffle is cooking! Remove with a fork.
