Blackened Pork Ribs

These spicy ribs will warm up any fall evening. Serve with wilted greens and a simple salad for an easy weeknight meal.

  • 1 Tbsp. ground thyme
  • 2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. cayenne
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 lbs. country-style pork ribs
  • 1 Tbsp. avocado oil

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix the thyme, paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt together in a small bowl. Rub ribs all over with oil, and then coat with the spice mixture.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer registers 145–160°F.
