Blue Cheese Mousse Recipe
Blue Cheese Mousse

This is lovely served with a sliced baguette, but for a special occasion try serving the mousse on baguette slices and topping with your favorite fruit or nuts. To ensure delicious results be sure to use a quality blue cheese-not the pre-crumbled variety.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces blue cheese, crumbled (3/4 cup)
- 1 package neufchatel cheese, (8-ounce), softened
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- baguette slices, crackers, or fruit, for serving
Directions
- In a food processor, blend blue cheese and cream cheese until smooth. While machine is running, add cream in a slow steady stream. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with baguette slices, crackers or fruit.
