There are so many ways to adapt smoothies to your personal preference. You can use ice cream, or unsweetened yogurt here, and you can change the fruit any way you like.

- 1⁄2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup lowfat or nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup lowfat milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Place the blueberries in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high power for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and put in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
- In a blender, add the frozen yogurt, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and blueberries. Purée until smooth. Pour into 2 separate glasses.
