Brown Sugar French Toast

Private Selection Croissant Bread takes French toast to the next level.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp. butter (melted)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1⁄4 cup milk
  • 8 slices Private Selection Croissant Bread
  • Maple syrup and butter to finish

Directions

  • Warm a griddle or large sauté pan to medium heat.
  • While that is heating, whisk together all ingredients in a flat-bottomed dish.
  • Dip the slices of bread in the mixture and place on preheated griddle or pan.
  • Once one side is browned, flip and cook evenly.
  • Remove from heat, top with butter & syrup. Enjoy!!!
