Buttermilk Herb Salad Dressing

Buttermilk is naturally thick and tastes rich, even though it’s low in fat. This classic dressing is perfect drizzled over mixed greens.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. low-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • ⅛ tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend or process until mixed. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
