Café Mocha

If you like chocolate and prefer coffee to espresso, here’s a way to start your day.

  • ¼ cup warm chocolate syrup
  • ¾ cup hot, brewed coffee
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp. whipped cream
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon zest


  • Warm a large mug and pour in the chocolate syrup. Stir in the hot coffee until thoroughly blended.
  • Steam the milk until foamy. Pour the milk into the chocolate-coffee mixture, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon a layer of milk foam on top and add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of lemon zest.
