If you like chocolate and prefer coffee to espresso, here’s a way to start your day.

- ¼ cup warm chocolate syrup
- ¾ cup hot, brewed coffee
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 Tbsp. whipped cream
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
- Warm a large mug and pour in the chocolate syrup. Stir in the hot coffee until thoroughly blended.
- Steam the milk until foamy. Pour the milk into the chocolate-coffee mixture, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon a layer of milk foam on top and add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of lemon zest.
