Caraway Beef Roast

You can add anything to the meat while roasting. Some suggestions to consider: potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, and red wine.

  • 1 lean beef roast (2 lbs.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. caraway seeds
  • ¼ cup water


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Rub roast with the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, brown sugar, and caraway seeds. Put roast beef in roasting pan. Add ¼ cup water to pan.
  • Place roast in the oven. Cook for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium. Remove from the oven and allow the roast to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
