Chili-Cucumber Margaritas

Garnish these margaritas with a cucumber wheel: peel stripes from a cucumber, then slice the cucumber into rounds with a slit cut in the side.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • ½ cup tequila
  • ⅓ cup lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 4 small chili peppers
  • 1 small lime, cut into thin slices

Directions

  • Place cucumbers, tequila, lime juice, sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper in a blender container or food processor with remaining ingredients. Cover and process until mixture is smooth and thick.
  • Pour into 4 margarita glasses and garnish with chili peppers and lime slices.
