Chinese Shrimp Balls
These Chinese favorites make the perfect party apps. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for an easy snack or appetizer!

Ingredients
- 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 2 tsp. gluten-free soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup lean ground pork
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 3 cups vegetable oil
Directions
- Place all ingredients, except the vegetable oil, in a food processor. Pulse until thoroughly mixed, scraping the sides often.
- Heat the oil to 360°F. Carefully place the shrimp mixture by the teaspoonful into the oil. When golden, after about 3 to 4 minutes, place the balls on a serving platter lined with paper towels or napkins to drain. Serve and enjoy.
