- 1 package (6 oz.) milk chocolate morsels
- 1 tsp. vegetable shortening
- ½ cup pecan halves
- ½ cup macadamia nuts
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate morsels with the shortening in the top pan of a double boiler placed over (not touching) hot (not boiling) water. Throw in ½ cup of the nuts at a time, stirring them into the melted chocolate. Take out the nuts with a fork and place on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes until set.
