You can use dark chocolate, bittersweet, German’s Sweet chocolate, semisweet, milk chocolate, or a combination in the recipe to get exactly the flavor you want.

- 3⁄4 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1⁄2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Combine chocolate, butter, and corn syrup in a double boiler. DO NOT let water get above a simmer.
- Stir until ingredients melt together and are smooth. Remove from heat. Add vanilla; blend well.
- Use while warm.
