- ½ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- In a saucepan, stir together the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually blend in the milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes longer until set. Add the vanilla.
- Pour into 6 custard cups. Chill before serving.
