Chocolatey Green Smoothie

Kids love chocolate! A brilliant way to transform a plain old green vegetable into pure deliciousness for a child is to add chocolaty carob for a taste sensation that will create your kids’ favorite fake-out of all!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 2 Tbsp. carob powder
  • 3 bananas, peeled
  • 1 vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped out
  • 1 cup vanilla kefir
  • 1 cup ice

Directions

  • Place romaine, carob powder, bananas, vanilla seeds, and kefir in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add ice as needed while blending until desired consistency is achieved.
