Chunky Tomato Sauce and Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (16 oz.) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • ½ cup green olives
  • 1 lb. cooked spaghetti
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

  • Place the sauce and the purée in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
  • Add the basil and the olives and heat through, about 3 minutes.
  • Pour sauce over pasta and sprinkle with pepper.
