Cinnamon Raisin Panini Press French Toast

Making French toast on a panini press is a simple way to make an elegant breakfast. Try using different kinds of breads for variety. This recipe uses thick slabs of rustic cinnamon raisin bread for a hardy and delicious breakfast.

  • 1 egg
  • 1⁄2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 slices cinnamon-raisin bread
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup


  • Preheat the panini press. In a shallow bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and cinnamon. Dunk bread into mixture, one at a time, coating both sides.
  • Place soaked bread slices on panini press and close lid. Grill for 4 to 5 minutes, or until desired crispness is achieved. Remove from press and stack on a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup.
