- 3 cups pecan halves
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. salt
- Add all ingredients to a 4-quart slow cooker. Stir to coat the nuts evenly. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover and continue to cook on low for another hour, stirring occasionally, to dry the nuts. Next, spread the nuts evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil until they are completely cooled. Store them in an airtight container in the pantry for up to 2 weeks.
