Nothing says Christmas like a frothy glass of eggnog, but this delicious drink can (and should) be enjoyed year round! Serve it as a quick breakfast on a busy morning or as a luxurious beverage at your next brunch. Add 3–4 ounces bourbon for a festive holiday drink.

- 8 large eggs
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
- 4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Set the whites aside and place the yolks in a blender.
- Add the syrup, vanilla, milk, cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the blender. Process until smooth. You can serve it at this point, or continue to the next step for a lighter, frothy eggnog.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the eggnog with a rubber spatula. Chill until ready to serve.
