Classic Grilled Asparagus with Lemon and Olive Oil
You need fairly thick asparagus spears for this recipe.

- 1 lb. asparagus
- ½ cup olive oil
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- Rinse the asparagus and pat dry on paper towels. Remove the tough, woody bottoms.
- Set grill for medium-low and make room for indirect heat. Toss asparagus with oil and lemon juice.
- Grill for about 4–6 minutes per side, depending on the heat of the grill and the thickness of the spears. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
