Clean “Chocolate”–Almond Butter Smoothie
A clean substitute for chocolate, dates provide a great “chocolaty” flavor with immense nutrition and without unnecessary fat, calories, and sugar. If you like the taste of chocolate and peanut butter, youʼre going to love this delicious smoothie!

- 1 banana, peeled
- 4 dates, pitted
- ¼ cup raw cocoa
- ¼ cup natural almond butter
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk
- 2 cups ice
- Combine the banana, dates, cocoa, almond butter, and almond milk in the blender with ½ cup of the ice and blend until thoroughly combined.
- Add remaining ice gradually while blending until desired consistency is reached.
