Coconut Cream Dream Smoothie

Coconut cream pies are a delicious dessert, but pack empty calories and have little vitamins and minerals. This recipe blends the star ingredients of coconut cream pie in a healthy green smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped coconut flesh
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 medium banana, peeled
  • ¼" ginger, peeled
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt

Directions

  • Place lettuce, coconut, lemon juice, banana, ginger, and almond milk in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add the yogurt while blending until desired texture is achieved.
