- 2 egg whites
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 1¼ cups flaked dried coconut
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Liberally grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, beat the egg whites with the salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in the vanilla, cornflakes, coconut, and almonds. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the cookies immediately to a rack.
