Coffee Ice Cream

Served after a decadent evening meal, this ice cream combines both dessert and an after-dinner cup of coffee. For an extra shot of flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of Baileys Irish Cream or Kahlua just before freezing.

  • 1½ cups sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • 1¼ cups very strong brewed coffee
  • ⅛ tsp. coffee grounds
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract


  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, then chill 5–8 hours, or overnight.
  • Once chilled, add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
