Cranberry Filling

  • 1½ cups chopped cranberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp. orange zest


  • Combine cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, for approximately 10 minutes. Mixture will thicken.
  • Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  • Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
