Cranberry-Orange Relish

This recipe gives traditional cranberry sauce a dynamic flavor boost! You can make this up to a week ahead, and the flavors will only get better the longer it sits! Try this with turkey, ham, pork, or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. dried cranberries
  • 1 large orange
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

  • In a medium saucepan, add the dried cranberries. With a zester, zest half of the orange into the pot, then cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice into the pan. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Heat the cranberry mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Once it starts to boil, remove the pot from the heat and let stand for 10 minutes at room temperature before transferring to an airtight container and refrigerating for at least 4 hours. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
