- 2 cups chicken broth
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- In a medium saucepan, bring chicken broth, cream, and water to a boil.
- Stir in butter, salt, and pepper. Whisk in grits gradually so mixture does not stop boiling. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring frequently. Cover and remove from heat.
