Creamy Hot Fudge Sauce
This is the real thing--thick, rich, and irresistible. It's the perfect complement for homemade or store-bought ice cream.

- 1 package (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- ½ tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- Place chocolate morsels and evaporated milk in a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until chocolate melts and mixture just begins to boil (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, and salt. Cool 10 minutes before using.
