Creole Rub

You can double or triple this recipe and use it as a spice blend whenever you want a fiery kick for any dish—goes great with seared ahi tuna, roasted pork, or chicken.

  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper


  • Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Store excess rub in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 months.
