Crepe Pinwheels with Smoked Salmon

Cream cheese is augmented with creamy ricotta cheese in this savory appetizer that’s great for a brunch buffet or a dinner party.

  • 3⁄4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • 8 oz. smoked salmon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 crepes


  • Mix together ricotta cheese, cream cheese, and dill in a bowl. Spoon about 1⁄4 cup of cheese mixture onto each crêpe, top with a slice salmon and roll up. Slice into pinwheels and secure with a toothpick. Serve at room temperature.
